5 BEST NEW Photoshop CC 2019 Features!

These are my five or six favorite new features and tweaks in Photoshop CC 2019.

Stepping aside from the new Content-Aware Fill features in Photoshop CC 2019, I’ll talk about the transform features, scaling, math inputs, undoing in a new way, the XD-inspired frame tool, and more!

Disclaimer: these are the actual notes I used to record this video and are written in a language you may or may not understand. Hopefully, you find them useful or cool.

1. 1. Multiple Undo
      1. Instead of having to step backward a bunch of times you can simply hit Cmd/Ctrl + Z until you run out of history steps to undo
      2. If you prefer the older way of stepping backward, no problem, go Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts>Use Legacy Undo hotkeys
   2. Live Blend Mode Previews
      1. Hover over blend mode names now to see what they do
   3. Frame Tool
      1. Drag out frames, set them to any size and simply drag images into the frame to have the image masked to that shape.
      2. You can select either the frame shape or contents in the Layers panel to transform either one individually, or just click on the layer in the Layers panel to transform or edit both frame and contents together.
   4. Photoshop Transforms text and pixel layers proportionally by default
      1. When you transform text or pixel-based layers, it will constrain proportions by default. Very cool.
      2. Not sure why they didn’t do this for all layers, but I’ll have to assume the decision-makers at Adobe have some reason for doing this.
   5. Auto-Commit
      1. When transforming anything, cropping anything, or dragging new images or content into the document, click anywhere out away from the transform box to commit that change.
