The Pen Tool – Adobe Illustrator Tutorial

Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics application, therefore virtually everything in Illustrator is created using paths. The Pen Tool is the king of paths, you can create any king of path using the pen tool, you just need to know how to use it! We are going to learn how to use the pen tool and we will trace the outline of an object as well! Watch, Learn, Enjoy!

Great tut. You show all the specifics of the handles, and how to manipulate them correctly; nearly all of the tuts I’ve come across don’t show this. This was very detailed and easy to get. Thanks.

I would rate it 10/10, great tut, I did not know how to use the pen tool, now i do. Thanks once again. This was my first tut I went on to learn, i searched it on youtube, and clicked the link for a hi res, and it was nice to see the author created a website. I DONT think i need to go to another tut to learn the pen tool. Thanks once again.

Also another request can you make a new tut on how to create a logo which includes a simple motif to represent mountains
