Nathaniel is a young and energetic individual who has been working in the design and development industry for the past 5 years and strives to provide top quality work and training material. He was born in Pennsylvania in a small city about 35 miles outside of Philadelphia. He was raised in a strong Christian home and home schooled and, at a very young age became interested in running his own business. His interest, drive, and flexible schooling schedule allowed him to start his very first online business when he was a mere boy of 12 years. eBay was the place and books were the product, by selling old and used books Nathaniel soon had a small business running right out of his home and with a little help and support from his parents this business continued on for some time. Over the next few years as his business grew, he gradually moved into merchant services and sold other folks items on eBay for them. During this period of time he also dabbled in cake decorating and it was mere months later as he was building his first website and designing his very first logo that he fell in love with this industry and design in general. After discovering a copy of Frontpage and Photoshop 4.0 on his computer everything began to develop very quickly and within months he had bought Illustrator, GoLive, Acrobat, and InDesign and by the end of his first full year of designing he also purchased a bunch of Macromedia’s web products (Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Freehand) and was eager to delve into the world of flash animation as well as begin the move from GoLive to Dreamweaver. After finishing school Nathaniel opted not to attend college but instead started his design business and continued working full time as a flooring installer. It was about a year after this that he started Tutvid. Now that his original design business has merged with Tutvid, he is busy on the other side of this website probably working on a project, training, or maybe out installing a floor somewhere. He still resides in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania where he is constantly working for a better and more educated class of designers and a better world of design as well as always striving to further his ability and understanding of design, development, and photography.
